Guy gets sabotaged when translating to a Large Array of Personalities (plus getting limited clairvoyance), then orchestrating rat hunts with intelligent ferrets. Due to another accident, ferret goes human. Fallen-from-faith priest meets guy (women matters). Everybody gets caught up in some solar system-wide AI war. Add lots of magic dust/nanotech/Grist sprinkles. |

A jumble of stuff really, apparently part of some trilogy or something. Have to read more, it's fun. |
