Comet Jo is given a quest by another version of himself; he is to help the Lll with the help of a devil kitten, a linguistic ubiquitous multiplex (Lump), and some other people he meets on his way to the Empire Star. |

The story is written in a quite confusing (somewhat nonlinear) but certainly fun way. I also liked the fact that most encounters are refreshingly non-hostile. While not properly explained, the simplex/complex/multiplex idea is also fun. |
