In 1989, twenty years after the Anime.Lupin III Pilot and four years after Legend Of The Gold Of Babylon was released in theaters, NTV aired Lupin III Bye Bye Liberty Crisis on April 1st. Since that time, TMS Entertainment has made an effort to have a new Lupin III Made-for-TV Movie produced every year, generally being shown during the summer months.
