A character is lecturing another character then somehow, either by someone else telling them the truth afterwards or the one they are lecturing breaking down or otherwise indicating that they've gone too far, the character realizes that they have been a complete Jerkass.
It may have been a "The Reason You Suck" Speech, but it's gone too far.
